Summary: The Business Development Manager role focuses on proactive business development within the Film and Lightweight Segment, including film extrusion, compounding, and recycling. Responsibilities include following up on existing projects, developing new customer relationships, and participating in customer development activities. The position requires attending marketing events, achieving business development goals, exploring new markets, and sharing best practices with the sales team. Additionally, providing technical support to customers and the sales team, including material selection and processing issue resolution, is essential. Strong knowledge of polymers and polymer processing, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, are critical for success in this role. Main Responsibilities: • Proactive business development in the area of Film and Lightweight Segment including: -film extrusion (barrier films, extrusion coating, lamination, and others); -compounding (impact modification, coupling agents, wire and cable compounding); -recycling (compatibilizers, impact modification), etc. • Follow-up of existing projects. • Development of new customers and business projects. • Monitoring and getting involved in customer’s development activities. • Visiting relevant marketing events, fairs and networking with OEMs, tool producers. • Meeting planned business development goals. • Explore new markets. • Sharing best practices and successes with sales team. • Technical support to customers and sales team (material selection, solving issues in processing).
